Four States Ag Expo Coming

Four States Ag Expo Coming. I'm Greg Martin with Lacy Gray for Colorado Ag Today.

With a tag line of "Celebrating 33 years of agriculture done right" the 2015 Four States Ag Expo gets under way this coming Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds in Cortez.

GRAY: The Ag Expo will feature education sessions with continuing education credits for pesticide applicators. A Forage Roundtable, C.A.L.F. education for all ages and two performances of the Wild West Show.

This year, back by popular demand will be another great horse clinic with John Lyons, stock dog training with Shawna Davis, a draft horse workshop with Bob Olson and Curt Pate will be teaching cattle handling.

GRAY: Of course there will be many vendors on hand and lots of other items on the agenda. Admission is only $5 a day and kids under 16 are free.

For over three decades, the Four States Agriculture Exposition has been proud to offer the most innovative and inclusive agricultural show between the Great Plains and the Western Sierras. There's a lot being packed into these three days. If you want more information or have any questions you can log on to their website at fourstatesagexpo.com or call them directly at (970) 529-3486.

GRAY: If you are involved in agriculture, the Four States Ag Expo is a must attend next weekend. And that's Colorado Ag Today. I'm Lacy Gray, thanks for listening on the Ag Information Network of the West.
