Longtime friend of the show Amy Spoon partner Brady and their son Brett went on a spring bear hunt. The first adventure that I went on this year that was most notable was Brett, our oldest, he drew a a spring bear tag in Northeast Washington. It was a long drive for everybody but he was super excited, this was going to be his first bear hunt ever and we were super hopeful because we had gone the year before and both Brady and I were successful. We both went over, had the same tag, I was successful and we went over multiple times and Brady had the chance to get one but he passed on a couple that may be we wished he had shot just toward the end of the trip we both got one. We had to go over the same kind of area with Brett. This was going to be is first bear hunt. It was nothing but exciting because he ended up spotting this bear the second morning and it happened too quickly. That is not something that usually happens but it does for first timers, they get that beginners luck. Brett made an awesome shot and ends up getting it so we had just the best of times. We were camping in a new area and he is getting to get all those feels and all of those smells. All those really cool things that we enjoy. It was super awesome to hear him explain the same kinds of things to us and we just smiled at each other.
